Medical Return webtoon/manhwa review

"Medical Return" is a South Korean webtoon that has a blend of medical drama, second chances, and personal growth. The story centers on Kim Jihyun, a jaded and disillusioned surgeon burdened by past regrets. Having witnessed the limitations of the medical system firsthand, Jihyun operates by putting profit over patient well-being.

However, fate offers Jihyun an unexpected opportunity for redemption. Through a mysterious phenomenon, he awakens back in his middle school days. Jihyun is determined to rewrite his story and become the doctor he always envisioned.

This second chance allows Jihyun to dedicate himself to his passion for medicine. He devotes this new life to diligent study and becoming a good doctor. The webtoon shows his journey as he transforms from a disillusioned doctor into a skilled and compassionate medical professional.

What I love is how the manhwa shows redemption, pursuing one's true calling, and the profound impact a doctor can have on a patient's life. It is one of my favorite Manhwa's to read in the reincarnation genre.

I love that Jihyun uses his foresight to prevent tragedies that plagued his previous life. He strives to make a positive impact on those around him, fostering genuine relationships with his patients and colleagues.

The webtoon doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of the medical field. It portrays the challenges doctors face, from ethical dilemmas to resource limitations. However, it ultimately celebrates the power of dedication and the life-changing impact a skilled and compassionate doctor can have.

Here is what other internet users had to say:
"
i love watching the mc get through all the challenges. The manhwa is a good read. Pls try it. It doesn't go deep into the medical knowledge but regardless you will like it i am sure."

"Medical Return is brilliant and has accurate medical references. The other doctors are certainly not dumb, though. It may seem so as his colleagues were undergraduates and he is a surgeon who has returned from the future. Some Seniors in the field are portrayed with exceptional skills."

"Maybe the author should cut down on some of the drama"

Overall, this is great for all level of readers and I'd rate this a 8.5/10!
